Developer - Modernisation Projects Tasks • Analyse source code to prepare projects • Create and extend tools for analysis and code transformation • Transform source code into other languages, to new data bases, TP-monitors or operating systems • Set-up test environments on Linux, Windows or IBM z-systems • Test the modernised entities Required • Professional curiosity • At least one procedural language like COBOL or PL/I • Knowledge of mainframe assembler or willingness to learn it • Some experience with z/OS, z/VSE, z/VM or BS2000 • English or German Beneficial • An OO-language like Java or C# • Hierarchical and relational DB-concepts • Some understanding of HW-architectures • Knowing Linux or Windows Jobs Developer - Base Products Tasks • Extend and enhance our products RULAMAN and SPL • Implement special rule sets in SPL, our proprietary language to define transformation algorithms • Support the project team with ideas and solutions Required • Good knowledge of Java, alternatively C# • Enjoying the development of technically oriented products • English or German Beneficial • Know-how in language processing (linguistics/compiler construction) • Expertise in Java EE, Service Bus Architecture and data bases • Experience with a versioning tool, e.g. SVN Contact  Jobs © IT Modernisation UG The Working Environment • We celebrate agile software development, use SVN, Latex and numerous tools and frameworks. • Our products as well as the projects, carried out with these, are technically challenging.
